Ordering from the Web Store
Due to the variables in shipping costs, duties, and customs, we are unable
to process international orders through the Web Store. Please review
the Glacier Tek, Inc.. / CoolVest.com International Order Procedures
and Shipping Terms and Conditions.
Ordering Procedures
Orders may be sent via email or fax. Upon receiving your order we will
send a Pro-Forma Invoice for your approval. If you have requested a freight
quote, the Pro-Forma Invoice will include freight charges. We request that
all orders be processed in a timely manner. Each order must be expedited
within 30 days of the day it was entered, unless previous arrangements
have been made. After 30 days, pending orders will be automatically canceled.
Order Changes and Cancellations
If you need to change or cancel your order, please contact the International
Sales Department at 800.482.0533 or 321.676.7799, fax 321.676.5950 or email using our secure web form on the Contact Us page on our menu bar at the top of your screen.
Please note that we may already be processing your order and it may not
be possible to make changes. Orders that have been invoiced and are ready
to ship will not be changed or canceled.
Payment
All orders must be pre-paid prior to shipping, unless prior arrangements
have been made. Payment options are: Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover,
and American Express) Wire Transfer, and Letter of Credit (for large orders).
If credit card orders are made through the Web Store for shipment to non-contiguous
US addresses, we will contact you with the additional shipping charges
and any duties or fees that are required prior to shipment of your order.
Returns
Due to the costs of international shipping and the difficulties of re-importing
products from various countries, most returns are not accepted. Each request
is reviewed on an individual basis.
Product Availability
Although we keep a large inventory, a product may be unavoidably out of
stock. Prior to the completion of your order, we'll let you know if an
item will be delayed or is no longer available. We also reserve the right
to limit quantities based on merchandise availability. For large, unexpected
orders, there may be a 4-6 week lead-time from the date the purchase order
is received.
Glacier Tek Manufacturer’s Warranty
Glacier Tek/CoolVest.com warrants its products to be free from defects
in materials and workmanship for 90 days from the date of purchase, provided
the products supplied have not been subject to accident, alteration, negligence,
abuse, or misuse. As the sole remedy under this warranty, Glacier Tek/CoolVest.com
will, at its option, repair or replace non-conforming goods. Upon receipt,
orders must be checked for accuracy and all products must be inspected
for defects. Macho must be notified within 24-hours of receipt of any discrepancies
in your order.
Glacier Tek Performance Warranty
Glacier Tek/CoolVest.com warrants its phase change products to change phase
from liquid to solid and the reverse (when exposed to the appropriate temperatures
for a sufficient length of time) for the life of the product, provided
the products supplied have not been subject to accident, alteration, negligence,
abuse, or misuse. As the sole remedy under this warranty, Glacier Tek/CoolVest.com
will, at its option, repair or replace non-conforming goods.
TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY LOCAL LAW, EXCEPT FOR THE OBLIGATIONS SPECIFICALLY
SET FORTH IN THIS WARRANTY STATEMENT, GLACIER TEK/COOLVEST.COM'S LIABILITY
AND THAT OF ITS VENDORS OF NEW GOODS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE VALUE OF THE
GOODS SOLD. NEITHER GLACIER TEK/COOLVEST.COM NOR ITS VENDORS SHALL BE LIABLE
FOR DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, WHETHER
BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY. TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED
BY LOCAL LAW, GLACIER TEK/COOLVEST.COM AND ITS VENDORS DISCLAIM ANY OTHER
WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY
AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
Shipping and Handling Rates
Shipping and handling charges are added to international orders based on
the total weight of your order, including packaging. If shipping directly
to a forwarding agent in the US, products are shipped via UPS Ground. You
may also request a freight quote to ship direct to your country or we can
ship freight collect through your specified forwarding agent. Orders are
shipped FOB Melbourne, Florida. Ownership and liability for loss transfers
to you upon departure of the merchandise from our dock. Freight quote charges
vary per country and depend on the service requested. Please allow 1-2
days for notification of freight quote charges after placing your order.
Shipping Terms
Prior to shipping, all orders must be approved and confirmed by signing
and returning a copy of the Pro-Forma Invoice by fax or email. Your signature
acknowledges that you are confirming the accuracy of the order as written
and also acknowledges that you are aware of the countries of origin of
the products ordered. Glacier Tek, Inc. is not responsible for tracking
any particular sanctions or regulations in your country and will not be
held responsible for products held at Customs or denied entry to your country
based upon country of origin issues.
Order Tracking on Pre-Paid Freight
If freight has been pre-paid and handled by one of our carriers, when your
order has shipped we will provide you with a tracking number, air waybill,
and flight or vessel information. |
